Welcome to the new year of 2018!!
As 2017 can be remembered as a year that celebrated sisterhood and solidarity by women coming together in an unprecedented show of unity – from the Women’s marches to #metoo movement – that was just the kick off! Yesterday, at the Golden Globes it was Oprah Winfrey who, in that distinctive Oprah voice, brought the rapture and gave an incredible, powerful speech! (see below)
In the new year, wander.ful will augment it’s collection with several new items in which this theme – powerful, wander.ful women – will be the protagonist! Our goal is not to sell thousands of mainstream, insignificant items, but we want to get one’s attention, make women conscious about the industry and beyond… By telling stories we find important to tell, by sharing news items we find important to share and by offering sustainable and fairly produced tees and sweaters, with prints that tell a story!!
In our current collection, with prints like Question everything, Changes, L’amour fou, Selfish and the wander.woman logo, our shirts and sweaters already do tell a story, although probably not always too easy to interpret. Our aim for 2018 will be to put more focus on telling these stories. Not only the stories behind the prints, but on stories in general we find worthy to share! And we do need your help for this! So if you have an interesting story to share, have read an interesting article you think people should know about, visited an interesting exhibition, saw an inspiring movie or whatsoever, please share it with us and we will continue to share it!
