The original logo of wonder woman was created by the American psychologist and writer William Moulton Marston, upon an idea for a new kind of female superhero, one who would triumph not with fists or firepower, but with LOVE. Since 2016, the superhero, has been named an Honorary Ambassador for the Empowerment of Women and Girls by the United Nations and will be tasked with raising awareness about achieving gender equality and empower all women and girls around the world because , according to the UN, gender equality is a fundamental human right and a foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world.
